We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. you can start the revolution from your office(?)
as for colour! ..... you should experiment with what you're not good at man! ....... I'd use photoshop to paint it up! ...... invest in an artist tablet if you haven't already .... and work with the different brush strokes etc!
If the flames in the glass are a reflection, then really pick a base colour for the mask! (grey, brown etc) and just add random (slightly transparent) flashes of flame like colours! ..... it's rawk!
however, that's my interpretation of the image! .... it might be something completely different to yours!! lol
i have a tablet so i guess i must start paint it...
